Chocolate pudding is a very simple, delicious and easy to make dessert. It needs very few ingredients and very little cooking time. Chocolate pudding is ideal to serve during parties and special occasions as a dessert after dinner. Here I have topped it with vanilla ice cream and oranges, but you can top it with whipped cream, other flavored ice creams and any other fruit of your choice.
1 cup = 180 ml
Ingredients
2 and ½ cups milk
2 ½ tsp cocoa powder
5 tsp corn flour
½ tsp vanilla essence
½ cup sugar (or to taste)
Toppings
Vanilla ice cream, oranges, mint leaf
Method
- Take milk in a pan and heat till lukewarm.
- Transfer half cup milk to a bowl and bring the remaining milk to a boil.
- To the Luke warm milk add cornflour and cocoa powder and mix well such that there are no lumps.
- Add this mix to the milk and mix well.
- Reduce heat and cook in low flame while stirring for a minute.
- Then add sugar and mix well. Continue cooking in low to medium heat for a couple of minutes till the sugar dissolves and pudding starts thickening.
